Responding to the need for an easy-to-use machine that could tackle heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, Snow Joe developed the Snow Joe Ultra SJ620, a larger electric snow thrower that delivers the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric unit. Driven by a 13.5 amp motor, the Snow Joe Ultra moves up to 650 pounds of snow per minute. Its durable, 4 blade rotor, constructed of heavy grade steel, cuts a full 18-inch wide and 10-inch deep with each pass, clearing 2150 square feet per hour. In addition to its hard-working plowing capacity, the Snow Joe Ultra features an adjustable discharge chute that rotates a complete 180 degrees to provide full control over the snow discharge direction. The chute deflector can also be adjusted to control the height of the snow stream. Easy-glide pivot wheels make the Snow Joe Ultra easy to turn and maneuver on each pass. The scraper blade at the base of the unit efficiently scrapes the snow clear to the pavement. The Snow Joe Ultra SJ620, is powered electrically, making it effortless to start and maintain. No gas, oil, or tune-ups are necessary. The unit is ETL-approved and carries a full two year warranty. For heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, the Snow Joe Ultra SJ620 is your smart solution this winter.

1987 TORO CR20 snowthrower

CORRECTION! There is an error in the text of the introduction and ending screens - the model in the video is a 'CR20' - not an S200. The S200 was the precursor to the CR20...and had the older 'paddle-style' rotor - not the more modern and efficient two piece rubber 'curved rotor' found on the CR20 and later models. The curved rotor model is far superior to the older paddle rotor units...and, in my judgment, the CR20 is superior, in turn to the later PowerLite series with the top-mount chute...the movable fins on the CR20 are far less likely to clog than the top-mount chutes... BOTTOM LINE? If you can find a used CR20 that is in reasonable shape - grab it...parts are still available and likely all you'll need to bring it up to new condition is the following: 1. replace the nylon scraper bar on the bottom 2. replace the two-piece rotor rubbers 3. lubricate the idler pulley and rotor bearings with lithium grease (waterproof) 4. change the spark plug 5. lubricate the fin position linkage and the choke linkage 6. put some graphite in the key ignition switch 7. grease the wheels 8. paint the undercarraige and exhaust manifold with hi-temp flat black rust paint Far cheaper than a new snowthrower and the new ones are not built as durably anyway... It SHOULD BE GOOD for another 20 years!

Could A Toro Snow Blower Be Your Best Winter Companion?

!±8± Could A Toro Snow Blower Be Your Best Winter Companion?

If you live in an area that suffers from regular snow or at least one period of heavy snowfall, then a snow blower may be just what you need. If you find heavy snow extremely restricting, a Toro Snow Blower may help you to clear your driveway and help you to carry on with your everyday life... but is it really worth buying one?

Why Choose a Toro Snow Blower Over Other Snow Blowers?

Toro Snow Blowers are extremely popular with people who live in areas that receive heavy snowfall. They are designed to be extremely durable and yet they also are light and easy to operate. Long gone are the days where you had to shovel all of the snow out of the way; with a Toro Snow Blower, snow clearing is a whole lot easier and a whole lot quicker, too.

Toro Snow Blowers can move up to 4 inches of snow from a 50x20 inch driveway in ten minutes. That is quite impressive and ensures that you spend less time panicking about getting to work and more time relaxing before you have to set off.

If you have more than 4 inches of snow, a Toro Snow Blower can cope with this too: many of the products in this line work to a depth of 10 inches or more and can shift around 18 inches around it at the same time. The snow blowers cutters send the snow flying into the air for up to 30 feet so be sure that nobody is around whilst you are doing it!

One worry that many people do have about any snow blower is whetherit is easy to control or not. Well, the great news is that the Toro snow blower is controlled simply by pushing in a trigger and letting it go whenever you want to stop. On top of this, Toro have built in safety features such as a key lock to prevent unauthorized access, which should help to allay any worries you may have about the children getting access to it and causing an accident.

Due to the fact that most Toro Snow Blowers are lightweight and easy to control, practically everyone can use them. So if you do live in an area that suffers from a lot of snowfall each year, you may definitely benefit from a on of these products.

Of course, as with any mortorized tool, you should make sure that you make yourself familiar with the user manual before use your Toro Snow Blower for the first time. This will help you to be aware of any safety precautions you should follow while using the product. While Toro snow blowers may be quick and easy to use, if not used correctly, they could potentially be a danger. So never assume that the manual can just be left to one side: take the time to read it and familiarize yourself with its instructions for use.
